Aline Giang

Aline graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Psychological and Brain Sciences degree in June 2023. Since then, she’s been trying out various healthcare fields and learning as much as she can. Prior to becoming an Ophthalmic Technician here at Orange Ivy Retina, Aline spent her time working in optometry and dermatology. She loves working with patients and is passionate about creating an environment that is comfortable and reassuring. Born and raised in Westminster, Aline strives to give back to the Vietnamese community by providing exceptional care. She also works to overcome the language barrier between healthcare providers and Vietnamese-speaking patients.

When she is not working, Aline loves to window shop, try new recipes, read thriller books, and play board games.

Dyane Velazquez

Dyane is an ambitious first-generation Mexican-American graduate student enrolled at Parker University to obtain a Master of Science in Clinical Neuroscience. She has attained a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Concentration in Neurobiology and a minor in Chemistry, as of December 2023, from Vanguard University of Southern California. During her time at this institution, she served in roles that have demonstrated her leadership, such as the first-ever First Year Experience Coordinator and Translator, Supplemental Instruction Leader for Organic Chemistry and Tutor for chemistry and biology courses. It was through these unique experiences that she was able to advocate for the Spanish-speaking population and continues to bridge the gap between the Spanish-speaking community and healthcare providers.

Some hobbies Dyane enjoys to partake in include going to Disneyland, hiking, watching the sunset, and practicing yoga.
